BOZmail 17th JANUARY

JANUARY 2021 – 31 day extension to – the 2020 home of the BOZmail

Welcome to the BOZmail service including the daily LESS IS MORE bet

All three qualifying LIM races on Friday were won by the fav and a similar pattern Saturday and all week really since we hit my fateful birthday date. I looked back at the first year I ran LIM on THE BOZmail – knowing that the January start had been a nightmare and it was mid April before I got it into profit – and the exact same pattern happened that year. Ok results up to Jan 10 and then a horrendous seventeen day destructive streak – not all losing days but no backed winners at a time when I balanced the lay and back slightly more exuberantly and thus created a serious negative monthly score which as I say took me a couple of months to repair.

Lesson learned that year but did run through January again in 2019 when the BLWM service first began and had the similar experience to this year. Strong winning streak early days after Xmas and all profits dribbled back in a really poor spell from mid Jan to month’s end. There’s no co-incidence to it. It has happened every year I’ve run LIM and so after Saturday’s effort I have decided a different approach to the end of Jan is definitely called for. Four possibles. 1/ Start backing the favs. 2/ Switch to tennis. 3/ Switch to no bet most days and only play when race read looks really strong 4/ Switch to the Nuisance Neighbour dog system I published before Xmas and attempt a daily tip there.

I have tried the latter before and those with long memories will remember it as a disaster but the formation of the Nuisance Neighbour system has been a strong development in my betting arsenal in 2019 & 2020 and as the horses have become difficult, I have switched to it in my own daily play to positive effect. Not sure if its a good idea to try tipping with it as I don’t really see it as a tipping tool. Tempted though to give it another try. I am much better informed on it now after three years of solid research – helped by several BOZmailers – and there is absolutely no reason why it shouldn’t work on LIM. Later publication time is a logistical issue but that might not matter just for this two week trial spell.

I’m giving it some thought. You will have choice whether you bother following it or not. I’m calling a NO BET day on Sunday to think it through further. Kelso is abandoned. The qualifying race in Ireland has Envoi Allen as fav and I’m not opposing him nor backing at that price either. Both LIM qualifiers at Southwell come up as race reads for the fav. So definitely a day to sit out and think thoroughly through what has gone on this week and make a fresh start on Monday. More anon.
